The skinny on cellulite
In layman’s terms, cellulite is a series of ripples that form under the skin. It’s a process that can happen because of weight but isn’t necessarily tied to weight gain. It’s usually found in the thighs, butt, stomach and similar areas. Cellulite is commonly referred to as having an “orange peel” appearance to it.
To combat this problem, the cosmetic industry has tried to develop formulas and other products that can reverse these “ripples” from forming. So far, they have seen limited results. There are some products that appear to work, but in reality simply shrink the fat cells, so it looks like the cellulite is clearing up but in reality they’re not actually gone and will come back once the cream stops being applied.
QuickTrim Celluslim
QuickTrim Celluslim is one of these formulas aimed at eliminating the signs of cellulite from the body. The driving component of the formula is a patented blend called the Thermoplex Activated Xanthine Complex. This gel is to be applied twice daily on the affected areas. Somehow this gel is supposed to burn fat and eliminate the cellulite in the targeted area.
What are others saying about QuickTrim Celluslim?
Browsing through some consumer reviews, users have said it can burn the skin, and leave a rash. It may leave you nauseous and the smell is also not very appealing. Again, those are just some comments I read, results and opinions will vary depending on the individual user.
The Good
- May see limited results
- Some consumers report success
The Bad
- Don’t list active ingredients in formula
- At $40, the price tag is a bit high
- Limited proof that it really works
- Potential for negative side effects
The way we see it
Not worth the money. It’s that plain and simple. I don’t know what’s in the blend, I don’t know how it’s supposed to work so I don’t recommend it. Cellulite creams have a less then stellar track record and nothing from what I hear or read about QuickTrim Celluslim changes those feelings. I’d spend your money elsewhere.
