BPI Sports Rx6: the real story
BPI Sports Rx6 is a weight loss pill that claims their product utilizes six highly charged weight loss ingredients to induce weight loss and help build muscle. I like the use of six solid ingredients in a weight loss pill as long as one isn’t sacrificed at the cost of the other. How is that done you may ask?
It’s not uncommon for some weight loss pills to claim a number of top-notch ingredients, only to include effective amounts in just a couple of them. The others, or the short-changed ingredients, are simply window dressing.
They do this because it saves them money – by reducing the expensive ingredient they save money but then charge the consumer the same dollar amount under the assumption that all the ingredients used included use their effective amounts. This is a common tactic by weight loss pills and is always something to consider when you see blends used in weight loss formulas.
According to a marketing pitch for the pill: it uses a scientifically enhanced formula to create a wave of hard hitting, stimulant based effects that can last for hours and hours. A word of caution: while hard hitting ingredients is what we like to see from a weight loss pill make sure you consult your doctor before talking them.
Highly charged ingredients often can result in highly charged side effects. We’re talking sleeplessness, jitters, nervousness and so forth. Be cautious about what you put into your body.
What powers BPI Sports Rx 6?
As we mentioned, it’s important that these weight loss pills use the right amounts of the ingredients. If not, the pill’s success rate drops considerably. A closer look at the ingredient table in BPI Sports Rx 6 tells me this might be a problem. Here’s a list of the ingredients inside BPI Sports Rx 6:
Caffeine, Cassia nomame, Ginseng, Dandelion root, Green Tea, Uva Ursi, Niacin, Thiamine Disulfide, Diimethylamylamine, Amla, Synephrine, Methylsynephrine, Yohimbine.
All of the ingredients included in Rx6 are only included as members of two small proprietary blends. The MethylCore Burning Blend contains the caffeine and green tea at a mixture rate of 360mg. Unfortunately, that’s not going to be strong enough. Both of those ingredients require at least 400mg individually.
The same problem happens in the 6 in 1 Fat Burning Blend. Synephrine – another decent weight loss agent that works in a like manner to the now banned ephedrine – requires at least 250mg ; the 6 in 1 blend only contains 238mgs. Again you can see where the formula would come up short in its intention to provide dieters with an action packed weight loss pill. In other words: it’s not strong enough.
The good
- Uses solid, proven ingredients
- Only requires one pill per day
The bad
- Ingredients fall short
- Don’t list active amounts in blend
- Overpriced for what you get
- Couldn’t find a money-back guarantee
The way we see it
BPI Sports Rx6 contains a handful of solid weight loss ingredients but it falls short of a powerful weight loss pill. I think weight loss would occur by taking the pill but those results will be limited and probably not worth the $40 asking price. There are better options available.
